Position / Role

Branch Manager – Engineering

Working within engineering, you will focus on a range of disciplines from building services to manufacturing. Currently the focus is on permanent although they are looking to build a contract business. You will be responsible for all aspects of management from, hiring, training, developing, coaching and disciplinary action. You will manage targets and steer the consultants and the business. You will be responsible for working with senior management to develop and implement strategies.

What they are looking for

They are looking for a manager with experience ideally in engineering / construction recruitment at team leader / management level. They will consider an experienced recruitment manager from other sectors although industry knowledge is key. Working in the engineering sector you will be responsible for overseeing the winning, developing and maintaining business. This is a very candidate driven market and therefore you will have excellent candidate management skills. You will focus on permanent and contract vacancies at a professional level. You will work across a range of engineering sectors from manufacturing, construction, building services and process control. Responsible for the full recruitment cycle you will nurture and develop your own clients. You will be responsible for candidate generation and be responsible for designing and implementing candidate campaigns. There are a range of consultants currently and they will have different coaching needs. They are looking for you to com in and drive the team forward. You will work “hands on” until such time as the business dictates and this will be driven by you.
