Sean Mckeon 24th February 2011 (Feedback received from a recent programme participant from Welwyn Hatfield Council HR Dept) Hi Colin, Sean Just thought I'd drop you both an update, my last day at Welwyn was the 31st Jan, it's been a bit of a roller-coaster of a ride since then (even if that is only 10 days), however I think I was already ahead of the game in terms of search and CV prep etc. To cut a short story even shorter I was offered a job this morning, it's an interim to perm post however with my skills and in three months I really can make a positive impression at the new company and I'm fairly confident that this will be made permanent. I wanted to particularly thank Colin, the face to face meeting we had was really positive and I know it helped to improve my confidence in moving forward. The background information about the Agencies and networking was also really useful. Cheers Joe
Sean Mckeon 17th December 2010 Good afternoon Colin, You may not remember me but we had a meeting sometime in August which was a while back. You were able to give me assistance with my CV and had a one to one practice interview. I'd like to thank you because the advice and interview demonstration made a significant impact upon the way I conducted my future job searches.
Sean Mckeon 17th October 2010 Hi Colin Thank you so much for your advice this morning. Your information has given me new hope of finding work soon. I used some of your techniques in my interview this afternoon, and I think it went well. I have spent most of today re-writing my CV. I have attached it and if you have a chance I would really appreciate some feedback on it. I can certainly see where my CV was failing before, and I feel confident enough to use this new one and feel that I could get some good response if I sent it out. I've also looked on the linked in website and the Simply Hired website, so I will be making use of that when I reurn from my holiday next week. Once again thanks for all your advice.
